The Course

Ironwood is an 18 Hole Semi-Public golf course located on the southwest edge of Wauseon, OH. Easily accessible from all directions, it is only minutes from the Ohio Turnpike. We are open 7 days a week for your golfing pleasure. It is 6965 yards from Par 72 Championship Tees 6462 yards from Men’s Tees, 5634 yards from Senior Tees and 5220 yards from Women’s Tees. Ironwood features 7 ponds, a covered bridge and many varieties of beautiful trees. The course covers 155 acres and is situated between gently rolling farmland and beautiful Ironwood Estates. There is a practice green and driving range available for practice and instruction. .

History

Ironwood Golf Course was built by Olon Andrews and opened for play in 1971. He also developed and created Ironwood Estates that borders the golf course on multiple sides. It has been family operated since its inception. The care and pride of ownership is evidenced by the outstanding condition of the course and facility. Just this past winter there have been some major additions and renovations to the Clubhouse.
